This definitely cares about students and their learning. The teachers go out of their way to help kids and parents. The social worker does a lot to help many families. The principal runs a tight ship but is very friendly, approachable and the kids love her. I would tell any parent to send their child here. It is a fantastic place for kids to learn!

The staff at Kennedy are dedicated the Principal as well as the teachers are all very approachable. If you have a question they are always willing to listen and work with you. They love parent involvement, and welcome it. The staff works together as a whole instead of individuals; this makes the school feel more like home. From the principal to the noon aides everyone works together for the kids. The motto at Kennedy and is recited after the pledge every morning is: 'Patriots are Respectful, Responsible and Safe I am a patriot!' The Staff instills all 3 of these into the students. They have many programs at the school that are geared towards helping the students. Mentoring, Linx, homework clubs, student council, safeties they also have a wonderful PBS program the children are rewarded for following the Motto respectful, responsible, and safe. I have and would always recommend Kennedy to any parent. I think children get a top notch education at Kennedy. Go Patriots!

I am very pleased with Kennedy. My daughter was sent here after the district change it's boundaries. At first I was nervous about the affect this would have on my daughter because she had to leave her school and friends of 4years. I was pleased to learn how involved the principal and her staff are with the children and activities. My daughter joined Science Olympics and won second place in district. She also had the pleasure of the principal being one of her coaches. She had a great time. She also joined Band, Mathletes, Student Council and Future Problem Solvers and had a blast all year. She meet great new friends and has really felt welcomed here. The teachers are great helper and keep you updated on your child progress. My daughter has adjusted fine. She couldn't wait for this year. I would recommend Kennedy to any Parent. Love Miya's Mom

I have been very please so far with our experience at Kennedy. I moved my daughter after first grade from a 'Blue Ribbon' school in another district because she was not challenged. After discussing with the principal at Kennedy, they had me bring her in and ran a reading level test on her, had her spend some time in a classroom and then decided worked with me to accomodate her -- which meant moving her up a grade. Her teacher has been great about keeping me informed and responding to my questions. The principal, Mrs. Wright, is great to work with. Discipline is very good at this school. The one thing we do miss is some of the extracurricular opportunities at the larger elementary we were at. My daughter is dissapointed that younger students here do not participate in Science Fair. But, overall, we've been pleased.
