I have three children enrolled at Immaculate Conception (PreK, 3, 5) and could not be more satisfied. Class sizes are small and the learning that happens is huge. IC is a well kept secret tucked away in a little neighborhood away from the bustling world around us.

My kids love this school. They're getting a great education (the Iowa test scores show that each class scores above their grade level!) They are also taught great Christian values through the Byzantine Catholic rite. The uniqueness of the Ukrainian language and culture is an added bonus.

Quality education, nurturing environment, and most importantly, involved parents who care, but do not meddle. Kids seem very loyal and dedicated to their school as well.

Immaculate Conception provides a high standard of learning and maintains traditional Catholic morals. From pre-school through Grade 8, IC students are nurtured within a learning environment with academic excellence.

Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic School is an outstanding learning institution. My son loves attending and the school is a very close-knit family always welcoming new members. Immaculate Conception students consistently score well above average on the IOWA tests. The school provides a strong academic curriculum, faith-based learning and Catholic values. I would not send my son anywhere else. If you have not taken the opportunity to visit Immaculate Conception, please do so-- your discovery will bring true meaning to finding a diamond in the rough!

I went to their parent conference 2 weeks ago and was absolutely impressed with the school, teachers and their passion and commitment to every kid. My son goes to preschool there, which they opened this year, and now I am confident that I made a good choice for him.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
