Wonderful caring school. The staff, and especially the principal, all go out of their way to insure a safe, caring environment that encourages all students to succeed. We are truly fortunate to have our two children in this school!
This is a good school with wonderful caring staff and a wonderful PTA. Any school is what you make of it and you can make a lot of this school. My children love the school and are very well adjusted. As with anywhere, some staff are easier to interact with than others. You can't get better diversity unless you were at a United Nations School.
Not a good school. The staff does not know how to educate or even identify students who have learning disabilities. I repeatedly met with my daughter's teacher to discuss my concerns over her reading. They ignored my concerns. She was finally identified as having a reading disability later. Much time had been wasted.
Excellent teachers, very involved PTA, diverse student body. I have 3 children, one has moved on to middle school and is a 4.0 student in 7th grade. The younger kids who are still at Maple are doing just as well.
