St. Joseph provides an extremely strong academic foundation for its students to take with them into high school. The teachers are very dedicated and will push your child to succeed. They have a quality sports program beginning in grade 5, and students have an opportunity to attend band classes at the public school beginning in 6th grade. Parents are involved early on, and this involvement continues throughout the years. Concerns from parents considering the school include having a child that doesn't know anyone but the 20 kids he's gone to school with when it's time to move into the Class B High School, but I found that my kids knew dozens of kids from the public school. The only fault I could find was that some of the grades could be 'cliquey', but it just depended on the makeup of each class. I highly recommend this school.
