White Cloud Schools provided my daughter with an excellent education that enabled her to be successful in her career. White Cloud was viewed by other schools in the county negatively due to a large amount of poor families and racial diversity. What they didn't realize was that students accepted differences in others and were guided by caring teachers and staff to do their best. I would not have chosen any other school

As a student i believe that white cloud public schools are an excellent learning environment for us kids. The teachers are generally knoweldgeable about what they are teaching us. And not to mention the nutritionally balanced breakfasts and lunches taste great. The only complaint i could make about my school district is the fact that our books are old. I think that moving the 6th graders out of the middle school was an excellent choice because, we were too crowdwed. All i have left to say is go indians.

I wish the overall school average was at least at the state average, by being below average does this mean we as parents and teachers are not doing our jobs? Quit with so much homework, spend more time in class hands on, and studying, working together instead of so much work thats not even being comprehended! The student's rush to get it all done, and don't take it all in. Also the new upper Elem. is being too tough also on our children, forcing them to try and grow up, no recess, and work, work, work, homework like crazy, too much for our 8,9,10 yr. olds. Why can't kids be kids.? I understand routine, rules, learning, but this is too much! I know teachers feel this way too, but are paid to do a job, teach our youngsters not be drill seargents. Kids in general grow up too fast, now were making them change classes, treating them like middle schoolers. They took the 6 th grade out of middle school and our pushing the 4 th graders into too much.
