Whittemore-Prescott Elementary School

The teachers are great, they try their best to keep things organized, and keep the children interested in activities, but I have a problem with the administration.

I would like to say that we have had good luck with our child at Whittemore. We have an ADHD child who is a little hard to handle at times, but we have had nothing but great help from the teachers that have had our child in their classroom. They have been more than willing to work with us and keep us informed on progress. Although I was feeling as if my child was being singled out on the playground, which could be partially my fault for being 'Too Involved' But I am glad that they were watching and taking care of my child. I do want to also say that we are very fortunate to have a great bus driver. He worked with us and helped us out with our concerns. Thank you so much for your support.

They have some of the best teachers! They took the extra time needed to ensure my daughter prospered and it showed in more ways than I can express my gratitude for.

My 2 children attend Whittemore-Prescott Elementary School. My children are 7 and 10. There has been an on going problem with the bus ride my children have to take. The school district carries k-12 on the busses. There has been violence going on, while on the bus. The elementary school principal has tried to take care of what has happen to my children. But they can't do anything to stop it. According to him, it is not in the budget to put helpers on the busses. I feel that the school district is responsible for the safty of our children and if that dose not fit into the budget, that is a real problem for me as a mother.
