| More about the school's culture | We use a Positive Behavior Suport program which is the basis for discipline in our school. This works so well at Loon Lake Elementary because we have such a caring and warm staff who relate exceptionally well with our students and community. Visitors frequently comment on the warm atmosphere and family feeling. We also have a fantastic PTA that sponsors wonderful daytime and evening activities. All of our school events are well attended. Each day our school is full of volunteers. Loon Lake is an open school that welcomes visitors and values parent involvement. |
