I am a former student of this school and I was thrilled that my children would be able to graduate from the same high school as I did. However, any similarities between the school in my time and my children's time are about as far apart as the poles. The teachers are not allowed to correct the children. The kids run the school and as may be expected when children run$ an adult world, it is nothing but choas, The normal expectations of polite and moral behavior are totally missing. This I blame directly on the parents of the students; because this is teaching that should be done at home. I saw very little 'normal childish' hijinks and pranks; but I sure saw a lot of viscious antisocial behavior from these students Bullies are protected by the school and students who are seriosly hurt are called troublemakers.

Hey don't you think you're being a tad bit oo harsh? I graduated from there too and while Wolverine High wasn't as special and eventfull as your 'prestigious school' was, there are still more high points to the building than low ones. If you were so bored with your classes than why didn't you duel- enroll that way you could get ahead in college? Well to anyone else who is considering enrolling there kids in Wolverine, you should know that you wouldn't be making a mistake. Wolverine Community Schools is small (that goes without saying) but it is because of it's size that students are able to get more attention and better help with there educational and personal needs. Every teacher that is hired by the school system is fully trained and is accepted warmly by the students.

I am not a parent, but a high school graduate of Wolverine and I have to say that this school is a disgrace. I transferred from a prestigious school to manipulate the system into letting me graduate early, and attending Wolverine High School was a complete mistake. As a sophomore I was completely bored with senior classes, there was no mental challenge, and the faculty didn't seem to care what happened to the students after graduation.
