I have two children attending Woodland and love the attention and cirriculum each student receives. The school was very helpful working with me on a sensory issue one of my children have. Between the accelerator reading and math programs, both my children are challenged and enjoy learning. I would recomment this school!
If you care about a hands on learning environment with field trips and movement in the classroom do NOT go to this school. Although the Kindergarden classroom is great, the older grades have a sit down and learn through a book mentality where personal learning styles are not important. Detentions are over-used as a cure-all for many student problems and the principal is too busy to be bothered when issues occur. I would NOT recommend this school.
I don't think that they do enough schooling for the kindergartners. Therefore do not really get the education that they could be getting.
