My children have had a wonderful experience at Wyandotte Catholic. In every class there is a small class ratio which is wonderful because the teachers have the ability to give that 'one on one' individualized attention that public schools can't give your child when the average class size is 30+. As a result my children are blossoming and growing everyday. The staff is very friendly and my children love coming to school!
I'm not too pleased with this school, so far. I don't recommended this school, socially. Especially, if you have a child with learning difficulties. Small class sizes but no one on one help.
We have had a wonderful experience with Wyandotte Catholic! My children are taught by caring, dedicated teachers. Our school offers a complete sports program, music, computers, library and art. Wyandotte Catholic also offers a mentoring program. The older students pair with the younger students as 'big brothers and big sisters'. They complete special projects together, spend quality time with each other. Both of our children cherish this time with their 'school siblings'. I did not find this when we were looking at other Catholic schools. Wyandotte Catholic is a warm, family environment in which our children are blossoming!
I have been very pleased with the education that my child has received at Wyandotte Catholic. Close Catholic community, parent involvement, and extracurricular activities all contribute to a great educational experience.
Wyandotte Catholic has been a great school for our family. I have older nieces and nephews who graduated from Wyan. Cath. and who went on to do very well in Catholic High School thanks to the great education they received at WCCS. The children all feel part of one big family, the curriculum is challenging and the teachers are great! Would highly recommend this school to anyone!
The quality of education at Wyandotte Catholic is great! The MEAP and IOWA scores are very high. The best thing about this school, though, is the family atmosphere. Parents are made to feel very welcome, and and the children K-8 all know and respect each other. Also, the children are taught social responsibility through trips to the soup kitchen, and a once-a-month 'Make A Difference Day'.
Small class size, great teachers; strong in academics, character development, athletics and extracurriculars.
I have had 2 children go to WCCS and am very pleased with how friendly and caring this school is for my children. The education has been second to none. The class size is small and the teachers are hands on. They have a very strong sports program in which my daughter participates in Volleyball, Basketball and Softball.
I have had a very hard time with the leadership in this school. The principal was very uninviting and cold. The parent involvement was not like other schools which I have been associated with. Wyandotte Catholic was not a very friendly atmosphere at all. I will say that The quality of education a child receives far exceeds that of a public school in Wyandotte.
A wonderful k-8 Catholic school. A sound student body with many great teachers and involed parents. An extra + for a modern Catholic school teachings and surroundings. Highly Recommend !
