K-5 this is an excellent school with great teachers, solid education. 6-8 grades are sorely lacking, the quality clearly declines in some subjects. Principal lacks initiative to strengthen the middle school.

Great learning environment for kids. Community service is part of the expectation of the older students and public speaking is incorporated into the curriculum early on. Cursive is still taught here and competitive sports are offered for grades 5-8. I feel my kids are being well prepared for high school and college.

ALl teachers are very creative in their teaching and learning methods. The downside is the principal, he has no authority over the kids my child got picked on evry day and nothing ever got done about it. Otherwise a very good school.

SJV provides excellent experiences to students and their families. All staff members are innovative and enthusiastic in their jobs, bringing excitement into the classrooms.
