My two sons, one is Pre k and the other is 6th grade attend this school. One of my children is special needs, as he is behind in reading. The school has done an excellent job proving for him the services that he needs. The staff there that I have met have all been fantastic. They seem to genuinly care about the kids. They keep parents informed of what is going on, they send updates frequently and I feel that my kids are doing great here. I went to this school as a child and I am happy to see it doing well.

My own children went to Henry Ford Elementary and now my grandchildren are attending. Things have changed alot since my children went to Henry Ford. Things have greatly improved. They have an Accelerated Reader Program and also an Accelerated Math Program which allows kids to work at their own level. No child is labeled, because they are all working at strenghtening their own weaknesses. The teachers and the principal are excellent. The children come first no matter what. I am very proud to have my grandkids attending this school. I think it is the best in the area.

This school is terrible! The support staff are intent on making everyone they can classifed as special ed so they can get more money for the district. The kids that really need it do not get the help. This is from my observation. They do not do anything to challange gifted children at all.
