The Kindergarten program and teacher at St Paul Lutheran School is outstanding!!!! Our son was having a hard time learning his letters and sounds at public school and the teacher did not have the time to give him ANY additional attention. This was not a problem at all at St Pauls! Mrs Petzel is amazing!
This school gave our child the attention he needed in school to achieve academically. The small class size enabled him to learn almost like one-on-one with the teacher. The curriculum was geared to challenge but not overwhelm my child. I would encourage every parent to see if their children could benefit from St. Paul school.
My husband and I were not privately educated (elementary-college level) so we were a little concerned about sending our kids to a small, private school. Our children are young, but we have already started noticing differences from our school experiences as children. The main reason I will continue to send my children to St Paul's is for their enviroment...calm/focused, moral-based, and attentive to each childs needs. We feel with the hyper, fast-paced world that we all live in, the relaxed atmopshere within the walls of this school help our children relax and, therefore, learn well. In fact, the classes are very small so it's almost like our kids each have their own tutor! No school is perfect, but this is a a great choice for parents looking for a learning experience for their child/ren based on small classes, morals, and patience.
