I am very upset with this school system bullyinig is a everday thing here and nothing is being done I have came to school and watched the teachers stand in the hall and watch bullying going on. If the child is in sports they can do pretty much anything they want or from a upper class family or their family is friends with the teachers. this is why their rating is so low how do children concentrate on their schooling if they are worried about being bullied and the ones that do it are concentrating and how they can make other kids lives miserable.

Unfortunately I am very dissappointed with the the lack of concern for bullying at Mesabi East. Not all- but some of the teachers and staff in my opinion are not interested in hearing the children out when it comes to bullying. The kids are told to'deal with it themselves' and what these particular teachers dont realize is how severe the bullying has become. I myself have a child here at Mesabi East and she has tried every way possible to stay away from these mean kids, but gets no releif as they follow, hound, degrade and harass her daily. My child goes to sleep crying about 2-3 times a week. I emailed her teacher, but no response. What does a parent do in this situation? My heart is just breaking for her, and the school doesn't seem to care to address it or make these other children have consequences for their actions.
