I have been struggling with trying to get help for my son since he started school. He was in title reading up until this school year and with some pushing I was able to get him some RTI speech services for one year. He is diagnosed with ADHD and Central Auditory Processing Delay and is barely passing reading, yet he gets no assistance outside of the regular classroom. I feel that the school district has continually and is continually dropping the ball with regards to my son and his rights to a fair and appropriate education. If it wasn't for the last two regular classroom teachers he has had going above and beyond for him he wouldn't be doing as well as he is now.
