Cleveland Secondary School

Even though Cleveland offers small class size there seems to be a lack of standards based mastery, as attested by our test scores which are low when we have such a great opportunity with small class sizes to maximize learning potential.

Cleveland provides a warm, welcoming environment for learning in a small town setting. The school has been home for my children for many years and so far, they have gone on to be successful adults. The parent involvement is incredible. Extracurricular options provide the basics in sports, music, and the arts. The music program is incredible! The great thing about this school is that kids can participate in many activities providing a well-rounded experience. Academically, the school is solid in the basics. It doesn't offer as many electives as bigger districts, but what it does have seems to prepare kids for college and success. They do offer AP and CIS courses as options to challenge the students which is a great opportunity for students in a small school.

This school is ideal for many students in my opinion. The smaller classes give students the opportunity to get to know everyone. Overall it offers a great opportunity to learn, there is always help, either from teachers, or from other students.
