As a fellow member of St. John's, I am so sad that you (previous poster) feels looked down upon. I have never witnessed anyone being unkind or judgmental. Perhaps it is just a matter of feeling conspicuous or not having common ground. The best way to overcome those feelings is to become involved. There are so many opportunities for volunteering or become a member of the PTL. St. John's has a fairly diverse group of students and they are all loved and well cared for.

This is an amazing school! The Principal greets all the students at the door EVERY morning and knows everyones names. My daughter is a preschoolers and the teachers communication skills are impecable!! One downfall is that all programs are during school hours so if you are a working parent it is hard to get to see your childrens programs. I also am not a fan of the other parents, as a single parent I am looked down apon for not not being married and for not having the option to be a stay at home mother.
