Our daughter was only here a few weeks. We removed her from an unsafe situation as she was bit by another child 5 times in 9 days. The bites left marks and turned black and blue. Cornerstone only apologized and said they were trying to monitor the biter closer. After no improvement we removed our daughter. Cornerstone seemed more concerned with us paying for another two weeks that we would not be using than our daughters well being. I ended up paying for 5 weeks and only used three. They seemed more concerned with money than safety if children.
I worked at this school for about 2 years and the staff there are wonderful all know the parents and kids on a personal level! Always had great activities for the kids and it's very much an educational environment. I highly recommend this center to anyone.
Our family has been really happy at Cornerstone. The owner is there nearly every day and knows everyone personally, I think that speaks volumes in itself!! it's like a big family and my kids couldn't be happier to go there each morning.
Children have been bitten by other students at this center and nothing was done about it. Employees have their own children in the same room they are working. They have multiple infractions with the department of human services. The supervisors of this program have a history of poor communication with families they serve. It's frustrating, but real, that some people should not do this work in Early Childhood. Cornerstone Child Care is an example of that.
My daughter has been attending this preschool for the last year (she will be 4 soon). Before that she attended their daycare sections. The staff and director reflect true care and concern for the kids. They also hand out monthly calendars and provide parents with information about other activities the kids can participate in. I feel very blessed to have found such a family orientated and rich educational program for my little one. Would recommend it to any parent!
