Great school, they provide a whole, core education without getting wrapped up on spending time teaching children how to use gadgets. A very close-knit community of famlies that truly care for each other, their childern and school.
Spring HIll has AMAZING teachers with a wonderful community of parents who are 100% invloved in the school. The classroom is beautiful, all matural wooden toys, beeswax, lots of outside time, for snacktime the children are served real whole food, not goldfish and juice boxes! There is a sense of warmth to each and every classroom as well as the teachers. The teachers spend quality time with the students and communicate with parents what is going on. It's a small school and will continue to grow and bloosom. It's a wonderful place where the learning is from the inside out, it nurishes the childs soul and builds self confidence like no other school out there. I AM continuly truly amazed each year. I have one child in preK for the 2nd year and plan on sending my other one when old enough. They also have afterschool program. financail assistance available!
We love this school! We are apart of a growing community that is connected to the Excelsior, MN life. Participating in city activities, the Community Garden, and the Farmer's Market! My daughter's class learned about local history by mapping their town and riding on the historic trolley to learn more about Excelsior's history. Now we can even take part of the 'Accessible to All' program, Tuition Adjustment supports our goal to make a Waldorf education possible for families who value it highly regardless of their ability to pay the full tuition.
