MSAD is the only program for Deaf / Hard of Hearing students in Minnesota that has achieved accreditation through both the AdvancED (North Central Accreditation) and CEASD (Council for the Education and Administration of Schools and Programs for the Deaf) processes.

MSAD is a school with rich tradition and cultural pride. We have some of the most caring and dedicated staff in this field. Our teachers proudly teach using American Sign Language on a campus that is staffed by professionals who can sign--right down to the cooks. We are proud to work with students who are deaf or hard of hearing of all levels to help them improve their academic skills. College is around the corner for this year's seniors--dreams realized! Our students are fully integrated into school life giving them social freedom that is rarely provided in a mainstream setting. Sports like football, volleyball and basketball are the pride of our atheltic department. National Honor Society, academic team, Boy/Girl Scouts, and other activities allow all our students to be active without communication barriers. If you have a deaf/hh child, come and tour MSAD--you'll be glad you did! MSAD--building the future together.
