I am ecstatic about Floodwood Schools! This school is fantastic! Quality staff, a new school building, School Forest, Athletics, and high academic achievement. On-line learning, Alternative learning program, strong curriculum, and a brand new industrial arts work center!

The academic advantages at FHS are few, but most of the teachers are knowledgable. As an FHS graduate, I found the extra curricular activities few and far between. Aside from the art program, basketball, volleyball, and football, the school doesn't have much to boast about; however, most of the teachers know their subject thoroughly, and are very approachable after or before class for help. There aren't any Honors programs here, so the very brainy child will be bored, but the education is well-rounded. One restriction is the availability of foreign language; Spanish is offered, and has an excellent teacher, but students won't find any other language on campus. FHS is a good school if you want your child to know his or her teachers and classmates, and be prepared for college.
