We have great teachers at HCS and are thankful for each one. We recently had two teachers who retired after teaching several decades. They were very gifted and we are thankful they are still in the community and very supportive.
We love the community at HCS. The family groups led by the 8th graders teaches responsibility as well as helps the kids to encourage each other. We are thankful for "those who have gone before" -graduates who give of their time, talents and energy. Kids that graduate from HCS are known to be responsible and respectful. We are grateful for the "village" that is helping us raise and love our children.
We started our daughter in Kindergarten at HCS this fall. I could not be more impressed. Her teacher is wonderful and the small class size means that she can monitor each child's level of competence then stretch & teach them from right where they are. If your child is more advanced, they will continue to learn. If your child is struggling with something they will get the attention needed to overcome it. I know my child is getting a great education and is NOT being taught anything that doesn't align with our family values. This school is so very worth the inconvenience of some extra time on the bus and the tuition is really quite affordable if a quality education and a Christ centered world view are a priority to you as a parent. It was actually a savings from what we paid for daycare! Lord willing, we're looking forward to being at HCS many years to come.
My daughter goes to HCS and it was the best decision that my husband and I have ever made. There is so much love and the quality of education is above and beyond what it needs to be. I would recomend this school to anyone that is looking for a loving and caring place for their children to attend.
