OK, honestly, I would want to say thank you to all those who give of their time and energy to the students at HCS; parents, teachers, principal, board members, secretary, bus driver, janitor, Harmonly Helpers, those who care for the lawn - ETC! We have a great community who we don't want to take for granted.
We have great teachers at HCS and are thankful for each one. We recently had two teachers who retired after teaching several decades. They were very gifted and we are thankful they are still in the community and very supportive.
We love the community at HCS. The family groups led by the 8th graders teaches responsibility as well as helps the kids to encourage each other. We are thankful for "those who have gone before" -graduates who give of their time, talents and energy. Kids that graduate from HCS are known to be responsible and respectful. We are grateful for the "village" that is helping us raise and love our children.
I hope so! My child is in Kindergarten so I don't have much direct experience with the school's influence in this area. However, many HCS kids go on to do very well when they transfer back to public schools in 9th grade & then go on to college.
