Strong reading, phonics, math, science, and English programs. State-of-the-art computer labs with ample assignments to use the technology. Two room classroom with 1-4 and then 5-8 in each room. Specialized music teacher comes in twice a week. Have a very active Home and School Program (PTA). Raised over $5000. for school projects this past year. Have a school annual and monthly newsletter. Working on initiating an intramural sports program with other parochial schools in Hutchinson. Have a Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Art Fair, Bike Rodeo/Safety Program. Strong no bullying policy developed this year. Students are happy and work hard. Community service is one of the skills taught. Many field trip opportunities. New library being increased and improved. Many opportunities to sing/perform for programs at school, nursing homes, shut-ins.
