I have 3 children that attend Janesville Elementary school and its a nice school. It is very small town however. So unless your in the know you will not be included in functions. Only the Janesville alum is invited to help with school functions. Also, I have to say that communication among teachers could be better.
Both of my children attended this school; one was gifted, the other needed special ed. Both children were treated in a thoughtful manner by the teaching staff. The teaching staff definately knew my children and they were not lost in the shuffle. The parent teacher conferences were always well constructed and did not waste my time. There are lots of service opportunities and test scores in basic subjects are continuing to rise.
