La Crescent School distict over all is a district that cares about its students and thier parents. The faculty has a new program called performance based pay, where thier pay is based off of new concepts and teaching styles the offer in their classrooms. It really focuses more on what the students needs are and is eliminating a teacher's habit of teaching the same material the same way year after year. The extracurricular activities are limeted to the basic sports and music program due to state cutbacks. Parent involment is good, but not great, especially when it comes to funding and tax increases. Becuase of state cut backs, there is a limited selection of special interest classes and extracurricular activities, but over all is a good school environment
