Kenwood Trail Middle School

Kenwood is a great school for kids to learn! I reccomend this school to any parent who want their kids to not be be forgotten. However in this recent year of 2011, The lakeville school's has let go off some of the teachers for more money, and the choices of the teachers they decided to keep and hire i am not impressed in. My child always came home from school in a great mood because of all the fun and exciting teachers she had. but now that she is an eighth grader at KTMS she comes home everyday complaining about teachers that throw away my child's stuff when she was showing a simple thing to one of her buddies, and also when the teacher talks on and on about one small thing that turns into making the whole class three days behind. What happened to the old kenwood that every kid loved?

My son needed a lot of extra help when we moved to the Lakeville School District. It was given in a thoughtful and positive manner. Teachers and the rest of the staff went out of their way to help him out. Thanks to all of the KTMS staff, he felt welcome and able to ask for the extra help! The school district we transferred from should be ashamed. Kudos to KTMS - I can't say enough good things about them.

As a grandparent, it is my observation that Kenwood is an excellent school. That includes the teachers, grounds and the actual school itself. Keep up the good work!

The assistant principals are excellent and very hands on. Parents are able to be very involved with the acedemics of their child. Most teachers will go above and beyond to help or provide extra assistance if it is called upon. Would like to see more activites related to art and creativity.
