Great teachers, great staff and great programs for teaching our kids what they need to succeed.
Teachers are caring and focused on the students.
Current athletic, art and music teachers are excellent and play a real role in the weekly activities of the students. Principal has sound practices in spite of restrictions placed on him by district. It appears that equal attention is given to children with special needs (do not have personal experience in this area)but always see aids moving about students who are handicapped. Parent involvement is strong. The teachers expect students to be responsible for themselves and their behaviors - it begins in the kindergarten classroom where they are shown what appropriate behavior with teachers/fellow classmates in the school/classroom is. Appropriate behavior is suppported not penalized.
