My daughter attended this Middle School and did very well academically as well as socially despite the fact she was bi-racial in a predominantly white town,. I think the teachers were exceptional and always communicated with you if there were issues. Your child will do well here if they have their own personal educational goals and can see past the many other students whose educational goals might not be in alignment with theirs. This is a poor, uneducated area of the state so keep that in mind when looking at the test scores. This town also has a high influx of spanish speaking students who fall behind due to the language barrier. Bottom line-If your student is willing to work hard, interact with the teachers, and do the work, they will excel at this school.
The school has a good curriculum and the teachers care about students.
