Our daughter attends Wildwood for kindergarten and we have LOVED it. We have been very please with the encouraging teachers. The literacy block program has been amazing. Our daughter started kindergarten unable to read and now is reading simple chapter books! What a delight!
This school servers kids in grade k-2. We have used this school since 2003, and are very happy with the programs. Due to declining enrollment, they had to eliminate the multi-age program where some kids in grade 2/3 were in a mixed age setting. That was really unfortunate, as our older child really enjoyed it. Mahtomedi schools are some of the best in the metro area, coming close to Edina/Wayzata schools as far as elementary test scores go.
This is an amazing primary level school. The teachers are kind, devoted, and quite intelligent. The art, music, spanish, phy ed, media classes are wonderful. Private education quality and public education prices! Our most recent involvement was with the second grade teachers. They are, without a doubt, the best anywhere.
