I was very excited to send my child to Risen Christ. I now regret putting my child through this torture. Racial bullying is not only tolerated but is enforced by at least 1 teacher. I have spoken numerous times to the staff and principle with zero change. Watching my child go from someone excited to go to school and love learning, to a child who cries and begs to go to another school. Risen Christ has lost so many great teachers in the last 3 years. I wish I had switched my child then.

The school administrators say they do not allow bullying, but they do not have an effectual way of dealing with it. They are in denial that bullying takes place in the school and they call it teasing if anything. When you complain, their strategy is to twist your complaint and try to make your child look like he/she is at fault. There are very few teachers that are helpful and good, but the majority are mean and emotionally abusive. They are also very biased. A very unhealthy environment for kids whose parents are involved with their wellbeing and do the right things. I am regretting why I sent my kids to this school. My high expectation of a private catholic school is shattered because of this school.

The school atmosphere is drab and does not showcase any student creativity, problem-solving or original thinking. There are crosses of Jesus everywhere with strong emphasis on Christian doctrine with no notable effort to impart Christian practices of love, tolerance, respect and care. The staff and administrators are cool, conservative and unhelpful and there are few ways to hold them accountable their lack of consideration. The school tolerates bullying and put downs both by children and teachers and administrators. This is not a healthy environment for young people.
