The school administrators say they do not allow bullying, but they do not have an effectual way of dealing with it. They are in denial that bullying takes place in the school and they call it teasing if anything. When you complain, their strategy is to twist your complaint and try to make your child look like he/she is at fault. There are very few teachers that are helpful and good, but the majority are mean and emotionally abusive. They are also very biased. A very unhealthy environment for kids whose parents are involved with their wellbeing and do the right things. I am regretting why I sent my kids to this school. My high expectation of a private catholic school is shattered because of this school.

The school atmosphere is drab and does not showcase any student creativity, problem-solving or original thinking. There are crosses of Jesus everywhere with strong emphasis on Christian doctrine with no notable effort to impart Christian practices of love, tolerance, respect and care. The staff and administrators are cool, conservative and unhelpful and there are few ways to hold them accountable their lack of consideration. The school tolerates bullying and put downs both by children and teachers and administrators. This is not a healthy environment for young people.

Great school, Catholic inspired yet truly Christian enviroment...in the most sincere form of the word Christian! Diverse, structured, stric yet kind...great expectations for the kids means that they have a lot to aspire to & actually do! See the www.risenchristschool.org website for more info. A great find!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
