It has a wonderful music program with a widening curriculum. It, like many other schools needs more funding to support its growth, however, unlike other schools, Hopkins has the experienced staff and driven students to make the funds well used.

Hopkins High really has something for everyone! Whether you are interested in art, math, drama, science, politics or business there is a class for you. HHS is also a diverse suburban school with 30% of the student body being made up of students of color. It really is an overall great environment that prepares students for the future.

Hopkins has so many oppertunities of classes in such a wide variety of subject areas. There are AP classess in things ranging from Calculus to Ceramics. There are also many smart kids who take these classes. Teachers are integrating technology use very well. We have many strong athetes too, especially in basketball. The music program is growing each year in the traditional band/choir/orchestra as well as other programs such as guitar and music technology.
