The teachers at Robert Asp have all been outstanding, from classroom teachers to fine arts & physical education -- across the board, the teachers have been incredibly compassionate, talented, and skilled -- they truly seem to care about the Students here! The administration has been great, and they really keep parents involved. The school recognizes those students who excel (both academically and character-wise too!), and really step up to help those who are struggling. There are many opportunities for students of all ages & abilities (including fine arts, athletics, literacy programs, and more) to participate in both during and after school. The only negative thing I could say is that while they've increased the size of this school physically, it is clear that the Moorhead School District needs to build another elementary school to handle population increase. Asp's class sizes are quite large, and that crowding is still detrimental to learning. I encourage you to check out school board agendas/minutes regarding expansion projects (https://www.moorheadschools.org/About/School-Board/#meetings) All told, Robert Asp Elementary is an outstanding school!

I found the teachers to busy and to many things to do to focus on education. The classes are to big with no individual atteniton. Communication between teachers and parents is lacking.

I think that the school is great, however some of the teachers have too much going on and do not focus enough on the students. However, there are other teachers that do a fantistic job.

Some exceptional teachers, but sometimes too big and busy to get appropriate quality.
