My son is Autistic and is on the severe end of the spectrum. Jefferson offers education through the Theo Wright Center for autistic children and my son is doing amazingly well. After searching the state of Minnesota and visiting countless schools for the best placement for my son, the Theo Wright Center surpassed all others. The teaching staff, especially the lead Sue Kimmel, are the most amazing people I have come into contact with. They not only provide education and guidance for my son and our family, they also care for and love my son. Theo Wright Center is one of the most amazing education facilities I have ever come into contact with.

My son transferred to Jefferson Elementary School two years ago. His 2nd grade teacher had contact with parents relating the good my son did and also areas where he needed extra help. The principal greets students at the door almost every morning and knows so many of the kids by name. My son has trouble in English and we have worked on that. He also excels in Science and there is a program (TAG-Talented and Gifted) where a student spend one class per week in his/her talented area. Kids are rewarded in areas where they excel and helped in areas where they don't. I cannot say enough about how Jefferson has helped my son be a better student.
