I am not catholic and nor do they push you to become catholic but my son is learning to become a strong christian. It is like a big family. At first I didnt like the thought of grades k-2, and 3-5 but my son is doing the classroom work like the older students. Hes well beyond his academic age level.
My children get individual attention at St. Isidore due to the small class sizes. More importantly, though, morals and values are taught on a day to day, hour to hour basis through everyday situations that arise, whether they be on the playground, in the classroom or in the lunchroom. WWJD is a common phrase/theme that is used in helping the kids make good decisions. The teacher's are great at making sure the children are treating each other with respect. Additionally, they have an excellent curriculum. I know this because my children are learning what they need to for their grade level and also the school's standardized test scores are above the national test scores. Best of all, my children love to go to school!
St. Isidore School is truly like a family. I love sending my children there! My children learn about the Catholic faith, as well as strong academics. I recommend St. Isidore School to anyone! You will find a loving environment in which your child will learn and grow.
If you want you're child to learn solid basic morals-this is the place! More than excellant teacher ratio and classes offered are superb.Check it out-you won't be sorry.
