I am 100 % satisfied with the school. My daughter was very very shy in her previous school. I saw a phenomenal change in her after she started going to My Favorite Place. Her confidence has increased, her language has improved and so has her creativity. The thing I was very impressed about was the way the teachers relate to each student and bring out the best in them. I haven't come across anyone who is not happy with this school.
Our daughter attended for 2 years, and our toddler will be starting shortly. We looked at many preschools both Montessori ones and others and this was flat out the best. Small school/class size and focus is on the child(ren). Teachers are calm and nurturing and very approachable. Our daughter looooved going to school, loved the teachers and developed friends from school (including a 'best friend'). She learned well and most important she learned to love to learn. Our experience was entirely positive and we warmly recommend this school to you.
Excellent school, phenomenal teacher/director!! We searched many schools when we relocated to the area and are so thrilled to have found this diamond in the rough. Our son attended MFP for two years and our daughter is in her 2nd year now (will continue on into a 3rd) year. We have been so fortunate to be a part of this school experience and our children have a strong love of learning. Michele (Mickey) Winkler is truly one of a kind! We know you and your children will be so happy to have chosen My Favorite Place Montessori as your child's early childhood education experience.
I would wholeheartedly recommend My Favorite Place and Mickey Winkler. She has a love for learning and discovery that is infectious. She has a calm and loving demeanor. The children thrive in her care. She is very organized. Her classroom is orderly, crisp and clean. The materials are so well cared for that each one looks like equal parts adventure and work of art. The one and only draw back is how high the bar has been raised so early. In other words, I am eternally thankful that my child takes away a solid educational foundation but at the same I am afraid that nothing will measure up to MFP when my child moves on to first grade.
Such a wonderful experiance! One of the best schools around, we looked at many! Once you meet the teacher, and see her in action, you will have no doubt it's the perfect place for your little person. I would choose it again in a heartbeat!
