Princeton has a great art, drama, and music programs that most schools would die for. It is a wonderful school with a better admin then most schools.

PHS isn't atypical, which is unfortunate. I am thankful my daughter does well as some who don't are pushed out. If you are not a self-driven learner you won't do well! Administration is often concerned with what looks good rather than what is good. There are many extracurricular activities, but they are spendy. To be fair, Princeton is a small, rural community with a farming history and a ridiculously large population of seniors who were born here and will die here! Every time the school district tries to increase funding, the referendums don't pass; senior citizens are done with having to pay extra taxes for education, their children are out of school! Really, PHS is a so-so school--there are definitely better out there. Somehow Princeton goes downhill when it comes to the high school. Both elementaries and the middle school are much better!

I am a senior at this high school.I have only run into a few very good teachers at Princeton. You really have to be able to teach yourself to be successful. There is a common joke regarding our knowledge... we have a Princeton edumacation! Sports are expensive ($250 per each sport and no family discounts)

The only thing that Princeton has to offer, is it's agricultural program, also know as FFA. It rocks.
