Redwood Valley Senior High School is a good school. The classes are well structured and well managed at points. We do have our ups and downs, but what school doesn't. Our music program is very good, and is not cramped and is not suffering at all. P.E. is still required for freshman and sophmores, and is well balanced.
That's actually not true. Our school has remained great and our music program has not suffered at all. P.E is still required for 9/10 as it always has been. RVHS is a great school.
The academic programs at Redwood Valley are.. nominal at best. Due to a recent operational levy referendum failure, the school must cut $1,000,000 from the budget over the next two years. The band classes will be horribly cramped and Physical Education may become optional for all high school students. Parents are moderately to mildly involved in any activities that may come to students, including some homework and a few papers to sign.
