Our child, like many others at this school, is extremely advanced. Every attempt to get the help these children need was met with a blank stare. The principal is not motivated to do what is best or the students. The staff doesn't seems to be excited to teach to the children's different levels. They are a full year behind when they tranfer schools. Yet the principal still wonders why we left. This school may be small, but that isn't always a good thing when the clicks begin in first grade, and bulling behavior seems to be the norm.
Our child hated going to school everyday and didn't like the teacher. She even yelled at us in front of our child. I never met the principal for two years until he and our child's teacher tried to force us into a program we didn't want for our child. Then he would constantly call us late at night after the school closed. We felt forced to transfer our child out of the school because she/he didn't perform as well as they wanted. Since leaving, our child does well in school, loves the teacher, and enjoys going. We were very disappointed in this school.
We have had 3 children go through this school and have been very pleased with each year. We have some of the best teachers here. They have an over whelming desire to see the children succeed educationally, spiritually and socially. There is much parental involvement. I don't think we could have found a more suitable school for our kids.
