Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

I'd have to disagree, as a young male who graduated from the st paul system starting in webster magnet and now, finishing up at the U of MN, I thought the school was great, wonderful diversity and can't count the numerous times I've ran into people who are connected to the school and Love working there, attending or loved their previous expierence, when I plan on having children, if still in St. Paul, I would try my hardest to get my child in to Webster.

Webster Magnet, in my opinion, was the best school in the St. Paul Public School area that i could have sent my child to. She has a 99th percentile score in Math, Reading, and Science. The Gifted and Talented peogram has enriched her and has opened her mind to many wounderful ideas. She can speak Spainish, Chinese, and Latin, all of which she learned while in Webster's enrichment program. She is socially devoloped because of Websters large population and different races. Also, she learned to play the clarinet in the band program, and i am proud to say that the Webster Honor Band played at the National Convention this year (the only enrichment school there) , as well as the Capitol here in St. Paul Her teachers have been nothing but the best for her, and I am now sending her into Jr. High fully prepared for what lies ahead.

Not good school for african american children despite it's large population. Lack of consistent discipline, teachers who don't understand 'urban learner' concept, principal and administrators spend more time trying to pacify parents than engage their positive participation. White parents over represented on site council and white students over represented in SEM (gifted and talented) classrooms. Do not recommend this school to anyone with a bright, african american student.
