The school has a newer addition so there isn't any crowding. There is not an abbundance of drugs or alcohol - trust me my kid would have found them. The highest drug rates in our area are in the Wayzata area and we don't even come close to that here. I wonder how many of these complaining parents paid attention to the constant communication from the school and teachers, attended confrences and went in and talked with staff? My child excelled and so do my younger kids in the other schools. As with most things it is easier to blame failure on someone else instead of taking responsibility. Support the staff and community and watch your child bloom!

Before moving into the St. Francis school district I never heard anything positive about it . I felt it couldn't be that bad but I was wrong. My daughter went to SFMS and it was all down hill from there. She made it one year at the high school and we have had enough next year she will be attending school elsewhere. The school is full of drugs and I have seen nothing to try and ease the issue. I understand there will be drugs in any school she'll go to but SFHS has an abundance amount of drugs for its size. I do have another child in Cedar Creek Elementary and that is a great school.

St. Francis High school ( and district) has been great for our 3 children. We haven't had any problems. Nice size, staff is easy to work with. It is a growing community with lots of changes ahead. We prefer a smaller school with small year class sizes. This way a child can actually get to know some of their classmates. I would (and have) recommend this district to anyone that wants to get out of a larger school situation.

I am currently a junior at SFHS. I think, for what it is, St. Francis is a very good school. My parents always say that you'll be able to learn no matter where you go, which I think is true. The teachers are very bright and they love what they do, which really benefits the students. The art department (esp. drama, journalism, speech & debate) has been really strong the past few years. It is a tad crowded for the size of the school, but so far it hasn't been a problem. More funding for new programs and more classes would be nice.

I actually go to this school right now and am a sophomore (graduating 2007) and putting aside all of the rumors that we are full of drugs and alcohol and everything, this is actually a really good school. You will not find a school around that doesn't have any drugs or alcohol. Our teachers are all pretty good at what they do (however, there are some acceptions) and our principals try and do their job. (even though one assistant principal can be a real pain most of the time and is easily offended) St. Franny town is a good place to be.

I graduated from St. Francis several years back. I really enjoyed my experience. The teachers encouraged students to do well in school and cared very much about their well being. There were several interesting classes as well as extra-curriculars.

Very crowed, but not really bad. Offers a lot of different things for students and their career choices, and then they are very creative with a school newspaper and TV broadcast made by students for students. Very nice! (Except for the crowed part)
