The teachers at Susan Lindgren are awesome in helping the children transition to a new school and a new grade. I have the utmost respect for Ms. Groven, Ms. Sullivan, Ms. Johnson, Mr. Berg and Ms. Bartee. They are an awesome group of people who really care about the children in their care. Keep up the good work.

Susan Lindgren Intermediate School is a wonderful school. Teachers and principal have attended workshops on the 'Responsive Classroom' to implement good communication skills between student/teacher/home. Social incidents of bullying, either verbal or physical, are dealt with swiftly and professionally. These incidents are very rare to due swift, consistent reinforcement of social expections. Music, both vocal, and instrumental, visual art and phy ed are still in the curriculum, even with dwindling state funding. Parent groups are active in supporting the school, as are the students by way of an annual fundraiser. Curriculum is challenging and creates a tone of expecting high standards and responsibility from the students. The students are being prepared well for the next step to Junior High. It is a top notch school.
