This is a small school with one classroom per grade. The small classes often lead to much individual attention. Once classone teacher per grade can be a limitation if a conflict in teaching style arises or special resources are needed. This small school has a family feeling. The majority of the staff seem to love the work they are doing. Students form solid friendships and good values. Extracurricular activities are limited. Due to the size of the student body, there are sometimes not enough students interested to field a team. Coaches tend to be parent volunteers rather than school staff. Gym and field facilities are limited. Home games tend to not be at home. An excellent choir and handbell program is in place.
