Love this school. Small class sizes. No homework. Whole food breakfast and lunches. Uniforms. Good teachers and staff. We've got two in K-6. Classes break up into math and reading groups that match the children's levels. If they are above average, they move to the next group and vice versa. Cons: No extra-curricular activities. However, this can be resolved by the activities that are offered at the community level.

This school is amazing. It helped me turn my life around. If i went to stillwater high school i would most definitly fail. Thank you Mr. Kearney and all the teachers for the joy and fun i had here.

I have to disagree with our overall rating. I would give it at least an 8, sure we may not have the best lunches or the best text books and stuff like that but we recently built an elevator a FACS lab, and totally remodeled the gymnasium. The teachers do provide excellent 1 on 1 help due to the small class sizes.

I enrolled my child at New Heights after spending two years at our assigned public neighborhood school. Our assigned school had class sizes of 30-35 children and I observed teachers doing very little to keep the kids in order. We love New Heights! My child is in a classroom with less than 10 other children. They are doing more advanced classwork than the regular neighborhood school and the children are well-behaved and happy to be there. New Heights is the best kept secret in Stillwater! I urge parents to look beyond the physical facility (which is in the process of being upgraded) and see the quality teaching and family-like atmosphere which mean more to a child's education than all the 'stuff' money can buy.

We have adopted 7 kids and love each of them dearly. We ran into problems at several schools, so we went looking for a new one. At one time we had our kids in 3 different schools, once we found New Hieghts we moved them all. This is a school that actually does what is says it will. Our kids come home happy and excited. This didn't happen for years. They don't have all the programs that some schools have, but I would argue, that it is better for it. I send my kids to school to learn math, reading, english, and to have respect for themselves and for the people around them. This is all accomplished very well. We love our school and hope you give it a try, but not all or you, because it's ours.

New Heights is awesome. I have to kids in tis school. I have never felt more at home. The teachers and the staff including the principal have really shown they love to be there. They are open for parents to help in any and every way. My kids love the school and have shown great inprovement since our move. New Heights is a great school and a place your kids can call 'HOME'. In my opinion It's the best school out there. And it's worth a first and second look for your kids.

This school is just the right size, and it has a dedicated faculty and a great Principal. The facilities are not new but are in very good shape and are constantly being upgraded.
