This school is unmatched in excellence. Not only does it offer a classical montessori education that grooms independent, innovative thinkers and responsible citizens who love learning, but the school is governed by love. The head of the school, passionate teachers with advanced degrees, and supportive staff collaborate well with the strong parent community. When my children attended there, we never wanted to leave. The education carries on outdoors on 15 acres--children care for alpacas, chickens, and the garden and take nature hikes and ice-skate in winter. Due to corporate relocations, we have moved frequently. My children have attended 4 AMI accredited montessori schools, and this school outshines them all. The two years my children spent here in both primary and elementary classes were marked by the joy of being challenged and the peace of developing a firm self-concept. When my children (now 7 and 4) come home after school, they write, do research (at their level), work on math: all for fun, sometimes way past bedtime--whatever the current interest is. They have extended concentration, focus, drive, and self-discipline--all the gifts of montessori education.

Both my son and daughter have attended SCM. It has been a wonderful experience and my children have bloomed during their time at this school. The school expects a lot of parent involvement and has a strong community.

Our daughter has gone here for 1 year and I can't even express how happy we are. The school setting is beautiful with nature hikes being a common activity. The kids learn community and responsibility of self, school, and others. The parents are very involved and the parent community is amazing at getting things done. I love the Montessori activities and the teachers have all been wonderful.
