North Campus is only grades 9-10, which, I thought would be nice, but isn't really wonderful. It takes away from any of the older kids getting to know us, IMO. And also, the electives are few to choose from.

White Bear Lake is the greatest! It's a lot of fun and the teachers are great! There are always some teachers that are not so good, but overall, it's a really great school!

Like most schools with funding difficulties, they are cutting back on the number of classes a child can take per semester so they have less chance to learn what they like, typically 4 classes per semester, ea 1.5 hours long; seems too long to maintain optimum attention. No swimming pool (none in WBL). Many teachers good, some not so good. Math curriculum has 'investigation' approach, good for people bored with math, poor for people that want to understand it well. Some gym facilities are grim, dimly lit. No orchestra. Band members have to skip other classes to go to some band classes.

I have had three chldren go through North Campus High School. The teacher quality and leadership is outsatnding. The dedication to the whole child and individual learning styles is always evident. Our three chldren , like most families, were all very differnt from each other. The North Campus staff did an outstanding job of building on the strengths of each chlid. Thank you.
