Terrible communication between parents, teachers, office & school district administrators face to face; great only if online. If you are not one of the stellar performers certain teachers have no time for you. Only exception in my experience was the Kindergarten teachers. Evaluating for "special services" to be funded by state & federal government seem to be most important. Also fund raising seems to be paramount for administrators. If I am asked to continually open my wallet, I would rather my child attend a private school.

Evaluating for "services" paid for my the state and federal government seem to be a priority.

School district does not communicate with schools, front office does not communicate with teachers. It is up to parents to set each group straight if ANYTHING is out of the "norm".

Bullying is given lip service & recognition on one day a year only, not on a daily basis.

Teacher effectiveness: Disagree

With a few exceptions, the teachers do not seem to want to put in any effort at all to help a child who needs more than "read the handout & complete".

Amount of homework: Disagree

During parent teacher conference it was brought up that on numerous occasions my child did not finish her work during school hours; on one rare occasion she brought paperwork home to be completed & returned.

Staff is very unprofessional. I believed all staff should be warm and professional so both parents and students can feel welcomes. I came in for my daughter's conference with both teacher and assistance principle and there is not even a good morning or hi how are?

This is NOT a school for children of color. The staff are very impatient. Every since we have moved to this town there have been NUMEROUS issues. The staff lack proper training and expertise. Needless to say, we will be removing our son from this school ASAP.

This school was once great. it has become an institute based on fund raising and teachers who are bullies. You have a gym teacher who has had numerous complaints for calling students names yet nothing is done because he is "tenure". It's fantastic to have our tax money pay the salaries of these absolute inept "educators". I wouldn't allow the new principal to be my secratary much less run a school. Middleton is an embarrassment to South Washington County both professionally and educationally.

Wonderful experience at this school for the past 3 years. Principal and teachers are available and involved. Very hands on. Kind. Open to new ideas. Stess education and fitness. Fun learning environment. Clean communication to parents. Kind children. Bullying is dealt with promptly. Parent volunteering options available and encouraged.
