I love Bassfield High School because all four of my kids went there and two of them have graduate. My nieces and nephew go there. I also love it because they do there best to help the students.
I think that bassfield high is behind times in a lot of areas, at no fault of their own. I think there need to be more money invested into the school's academic program to enhance the learning ability from the struggling student all the way up to the a+ student keeping it balanced.
I think that the academic programs are high quality and that they are there for a purpose but, very few students participate in them. As far as the availability of art, sports, and other extracurricular activities they have a variety of events such as , basketball games which is a major event that the majority of the town participates in. another event is football which is another major sport that the majority of the community is invovled with. The games are great and fun. Last but not least, the parent involvement is very low, I would say only a low percentage of the parents are really involved in their childrens school status.
