I personally love SP, I am currently a student at South Panola High school..... I have a great time here with all the teachers here at SPHS!!!!!!! This is my last year of high school and I'm gonna miss every teacher here tremendously!!!!!!!!! Especially all my band directors, they have taught me to be a very respectful and muture young adult and to anyone who doesn't think so think again!!!!!

South Panola is a school that will give back all you put in to it plus. Not only #1 in football, but the teachers have kids that brag about their mentors. I stay personally involved with my childs education and I am pleased overall with the help I have been given and the amount of concern shown during a recent visit. Parents must do their part! This is not a daycare and your child is your responsibility. Hats of to the under paid and under appreciated Angels of Education.

South Panola is a great place to be. Three-time state champion football team, and there are many other great sports. The school also has many extracirricular activities for all students. There is a great atmosphere here!

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Mississippi used the Subject Assessment Testing Program (SATP) to test students in English II, writing, algebra I, biology I and U.S. history at the completion of each course. Students must pass all parts of the SATP in order to graduate from high school. The SATP is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Mississippi. The goal is for all students to pass the test.
