Profile Completeness

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Saint Stanislaus is the greatest school in the region. The school's mission to foster character formation is taken to heart by all of the administrators, teachers and staff. My son flourished as soon as he got there as a boarding student because of the consistency and structure of the dormitory that we, as his parents, couldn't provide because of our busy work environment. When he got there, he made some really good friends and they are now inseparable! They really do form a close brotherhood in the dorms. The weekend activities also help to bring them closer together. They're so fun that sometimes my son decides to stay some weekends instead of come home. Although it was tough, I know it was the right decision to send him to Saint Stanislaus so that he can become the wonderful man that God made him.

I came to this school.... and promptly became aethiest. I never smoked before i came here. The administration cares more about upholding policy then actually caring about its students, god forbid your a good person and make good grades and do one thing out of line and they promptly ruin your life. I had a good friend who was kicked out for something minuscule and his life was ruined, but the school moral code was upheld at least right guys, forget the fact we ruined someones future. Without a doubt, I hate this school.

I went to this school several years ago. Its the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I do not recommend this school to anyone. Stay away if you care for your children.

Saint Stanislaus has been very good for my son. The structure has improved his study habits and grades dramatically. He finds the courses more difficult, but the teachers interesting. His after-school time is filled with plenty of activities. He has not been homesick since the first week. He also likes and respects both prefects...good guys. Teachers, coaches, and guidance counselors are qualified and interested. God is in the leadership position, His proper place. Religion is an enjoyable experience, and not camouflaged in a secular ceremony as in some boarding schools.

St. Stanislaus college prep is by far the most respected school in this area. The academics are strenuous, and the Bible is respected. Community service is fostered, and the students are encourage to serve others as a part of the educational experience. St. Stanislaus is steeped in tradition, and attendance at this school is money very well spent.

As the mother of a SSC graduate and grandmother of a prospective graduate-Class of 2013 I can't say enough good things about this school. It prepares boys with an excellent education and inculcates the spiritual values that they need to mature into fine men.

For a day student, I would send my son in a second - boarding - dont make the mistake and send him as a boarder. I did and the biggest mistake of my life. Unless of course you dont care about your son then send him.

My son attended and graduated from St. Stanislaus. It is one of the finest schools in the nation. He was safe. He was accepted and nurtured. He was challenged and encouraged to do his best. After high school he attended a premier university on full scholarship. What an exceptional return on investment.

Our son attended St. Stanislaus for 5 years. He excelled emotionally, accademically and spiritually. Facuality is outstanding. This school has teachers that want their students to excel and succeed. These students are well prepared for college. Because of this schools diversity, my son was prepared to interact with students from all nationalities and backgrounds. This is a school of character and it builds the students self esteem. My son is now enrolled at UAB in birmingham majoring in chemistry. I know that St. Stanislaus has a lot to do with his success. He is exceeding his and our expectations. He is and has been named on the Deans List. I recommend this school to any parent that has a student that needs discipline, has low self-esteem, needs motivation, wants a good education, looking for diversity, and who wants teachers that solely care for their students and strive for them to achieve.

This school cares deeply about each student, and will go the extra mile to be sure that each boy is performing to the best of his ability. Most important of all, the boys are happy here.

I wish every student, parent, teacher, etc. could spend one day at St. Stanislaus, and then they would know that this is the best school on the coast.

I am paying for my grandson to attend SSC. He has made great strides, emotionally, spiritually and academically. He is still adjusting and is learning structure that will help him when he gets in the real world. He has a very unstable home life but is learning that it has nothing to do with who he is and what he can become. He still has a ways to go as it is his first year there. With the help of God working through these dedicated teachers and Administration, I will hope to see him come out of there as a Man of character, what else can you expect or want.
